Crying is a coping mechanism and a release of emotion.
It's a natural process. Everyone does it...some more than others.
I believe that for early baby boomers...there may be those that still think it's a sign of weakness...but they still do it. And it's not a shame...
i cried on my birthday last month when my 9 year old daughter gave me a hand written card as to why she loves me so much...it was sweet...a real treasure...

Everyone cries. Some cry for what seems like nothing, others only cry when no one else can see them. Crying is actually good for you. It's natures emotional healing process. It's not shameful to cry.

Sometimes crying is the only emotion left to cleanse your soul from hurt, grief & worries; that may plague your heart whenever you're feeling down. It's a "human" sign, that expresses your emotions whether it's from tears of saddness or joy !

Sometimes when life just doesn't go right and becomes stressful, I will take a long bath in peace and I may cry for awhile and think about positive things to do and go on with my life.

crying isnt a symbol of weakness. its even a symbol of strength, when you've cried because you have lost a loved one, when you've found out that your boyfriend is flirting with your bestfriend coz now you know. and all other else...

I cried yesterday, my 2 month old baby got his shots, and I had no control over his pain. I even had to hold him down to the table while they did it!
This is not my first child, but it hurts me every time.

no it is not a weakness. and we all should let the tears fall for our own sakes.
to hold this in is not good.
men try to keep the water works held in and it is wrong. they should cry and i think it takes a great great man to cry.
