I'm from Michigan, and am about to go down there, to visit a friend, in about a week. Wondering if Im going to have a good time, and what to expect.

Tennessee is an awesome state. The Smokies will awe you, and the people are very friendly in most places, if you're in the Memphis area make sure to check out some of the Casinos, Elvis the Pelvis's Grace Land, and night clubs, if you're in the Nashville area make sure to check out The Grand Ol Opery, museums, and some of the live Blue Grass bands at any of several night spots. Have a Great Time down yonder:)

My cousin was a forester there for years and he loved it. I've visited and found it to be a beautiful part of the country. And there's plenty to do, whether you like open orchards or city life. Just go expecting to have a good time, and you probably will! :)

Since you are in Michigan, you are used to humidity. It's hot and humid. Other then that, it's a nice state. I moved from there a few years ago only because the humidity got to me.

Me, the wife and kids are going to the Gatlanberg area this weekend. My father-in-law has a sweet setup on Douglas Lake.
Its like anywhere else, it depends on what part you are going to.

ive never been to tennessee, but that is where i would like to have my next honeymoon, somewhere in that area, in the mountains.....just sounds wonderful, im sure you will have a blast
