very much becouse it's good, cheap and not have much side effects.

i personally have quite a bit of faith in it because it has helped me in the past and many people i highly respect have great belief in it.
however, i would say that it's more "faith" than scientific "proof". though i am sure there are some people who would argue otherwise. i don't keep up with the studies.
perhaps part of it is a placebo affect, but i enjoy eating ayurvedic when i can. i would definitely give it a chance if you are interested and can afford the time/effort/etc.

Absolutely none. It doesn't work according to studies and it doesn't deal with the original cause of the problem.
