my hewlett packard laptop screen ran down black. altough I can see the computer starting normally, and the windows open normally too, my LCD screen is dark. What should I do? The repairs would cost a lot but no one can tell me why the screen slowly ran black. Found a post at a forum, this happens sometimes to the screens. Can someone help me or suggest me a solution?

ok, try changing the luminance of your screen. set the brightness or the contrast. that could be the problem.
