they are dropping the fake kane (which is ironic as glen jacobs firs character was the fake diesel)
Kane has taken back the mask so expect him to wear it again soon. Bad idea if you ask me, the mask was only popular because of the mistyque of not knowing what was underneath. no we know its just glen jacobs with a receding hairline and a bit of mascara. Would have been better to introduce the fake kane as an evil twin, would have been slightely more believable!!!

The point of it is that Kane will take back the mask from the imposter and then go back to using it in the future.
They just wanted a way to reintroduce the mask that would kinda make sense.

I suppose if a gimmick works once, they try it again later because a new generation of fans would not have seen it before.
However people who have followed wrestling would recognize it and be a little cheesed.
