first one was a soul connection (meant to be in the fact that person will teach us something valueble) but the second, my husband, is my soul mate (meant to be in the fact they will guide you, love and care for you for the rest of your life)

Infatuation and attraction are all you feel when you are young. Only time and shared experiences will result in "love". I've seen way too many people (young and not so young) profess true love and get married but divorce within 5 years. But a couple that has been together 30-40-50 years....those people have found love.

No, my first love was not really true love. But I found my soul mate and married him. If you're patient you will know when your love is true.
