From what I gather 1st they hired Ms. Rosie O'Donnell, she and Star do not get along, Rosie is insisting Star had her stomach stapled and Star says she didn't. (my opinion; "What is it any of your business anyway Rosie, you jealous")? "(and who are you to put Stars business out of the closet, she obviously didn't want it known if it is true?)" So any how there was bad blood. Next her contract wasn't picked up by the station for the next season.
And last they had it scheduled for her to let it out of the bag she was leaving the show next week sometime, and she jumped the gun and pist off Barbra Walters, (huge mistake) Which led to her immediate departure.
I don't know who's to blame but I feel Star is getting bulldozed, but she just needs to keep her head high and it will work out in the end. She looks great!!!

I used to watch the View when it was first on. It was great on the days Barbara Walters was gone -- but on the days when Barbara Walters was there, it was terrible. She is very controlling.

Star Jones was very complimentary to her on her last show, then Barbara Walters says that she was supportive of Star before her announcement but now feels betrayed by her. But when you hear the facts, you find out that Star's contract wasn't renewed. Barbara Walters is the executive producer and creator of the show. If she wanted Star to stay, she would have made sure that the contract was extended. Barbara Walters is a two-faced liar.

That being said, I have no personal interest in whether Star Jones is kept on or not. It may well have been the best thing to let her go. But the way they did it annoys me. Barbaras Walters had the choice of taking the high road. She did not.

I think Star ought to start her own show with three other women. Kathy Griffin would be a great choice for one. Maybe Kathie Lee and Debbie Matanapolous (how funny would that be) could be the other two. They would blow the new View out of the water.

Rosie won't last long on the show. She will not bend to the will of Barbara Walters.

I personally like Star Jones. However, I thought it was extremely unprofessional for her to interrupt a scheduled segment to surprise her other cohosts with the announcement, which was to be made on Thursday. It was also extremely inconsiderate of Barbara Walters, and ABC, to hire Rosie O'Donnell who, in my opinion, does not hold the standards of what I watch in the View. Especially to replace Meredith. No comparison.

nicely in case you verify with Booker T, Kurt perspective ,or perhaps the late large Bam Bigelow the reason why they hated Wwe became the behind the curtain politics. specially uncooked has the most politics. Rvd has pronounced himself that he couldn't take it himself. It became complete of *** Kissers, back stabbers, and those who would do something to live to inform the tale correct. I blame(no longer the wrestlers) Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Randy Ortan, Batista, and Undertaker. rationalization why wrestlers like Rob Van Dam and Booker T left. that's from what I heard. also Kane has pronounced himself that he needs to assist the more youthful men get their large destroy. Which I heard he's nicely respected by utilizing human beings behind the curtain jointly with the more youthful men. nicely Kane is contained in the MITB tournament. i personally think she is rather egotistic.. .. so i am glad she is gone. i am sure her ego had a part in her departure. good riddance.. its the same old poor poor me syndrome.. and she made the announcement when she did to draw attention to herself. she could have left quietly.
