sometimes people are very gelous if u are better then them but why? If they are your friends they shouldn't be like this!!

Hi dear,
People who are jealous because you are better than them mostly suffer from low self esteem and insecurities.
you know what, i'll advice that you not worry so much about that, even though it's sometimes so disturbing and frustrating. it bothers you more when the person is a friend and you really don't see why they should fee that way.
But guess what, always appreciate yourself for who God has made you, pray for them so God wlll help them know their worth in him, how special they are to him and how they always will be.
Try and encourage them, talk to them, involve them in decisions, though their ideas may not always be brilliant.
make them feel accepted and not left out. let them know you appreciat them, and ignore them when they act jealous.

Because they see you as a threat, they (if they are your friends) sub consciously do mean things to you to try and show your inadequacies, but really only put a spotlight on themselves. Other times (actually most of the time) they are not really your friend, but are drawn to you like a moth to light bulb, they can't help it, they actually hate it and they release this anger in the mean things they do. I would look to developing different friends..you don't need, nor should be subject to this

its human nature, suppose someone better than you asked you to hang around with them --- at times wouldn't you feel a little jealous when you see them in finer clothers, better cars, spending more money on things that you can't afford --- now you have an idea how your friends (who don't have as much as you) sometimes feel.

Honey, if you sat down and tried to analyze every single person's behaviour you still would not know why they act the way they do. Friends aren't mean so check that, they aren't your friends if they are being mean to you.

Some people are mean so that we can appreciate how nice other people are. If the world was void of people with whom we shared opposing viewpoints, we would all be terribly bored.

That's fairly simple to answer...most people are mean or jealous because they feel inadequate. So if they are mean to people, then they don't have to look at themselves and their own shortcomings.

jealousy happens all the time including with your friends but it's just the way they handle their jealousy... try not to worry too much about ur friend's jealousy cause it will blow over soon...
