As a Real Madrid fan, surely I consider him one of the best players ever in general.
Especially after the Spain vs France game (though I have wanted Spain to win) and since this is his final World Cup and the end of his brilliant career, I'd say Zinedine "Zizou" Zidane.

BECKHAM HAS sucked..he was overdue for a goal as was Zidane...France will get their clocks cleaned against Brasil- you have no idea how PISSED they are because of 1998 and they will avenge this loss...it is the only thig they want...it is more important to them than the cup itself..
best player...Ronaldinho and Miroslav Klose..Klose for his 4 goals and Ronaldinho for his ability to change roles into being the organizer and the set up person for the goals that are being scored..he is the coach on the field..
