There is a lot of difference between "Can Play" and "Will Play" --- Personally I think he "Should'nt Play" for Indian Cricket Team anymore.. He had his days and he is Certainly the PAST of Indian Cricket now.

Having said that.. If he thinks he can make a come back - He should "perform consistently" and Silence his Critics. If he does that, it will surely be the Greatest Comeback of a player in the History of Cricket.

Goodluck to him.

I doubt it. He should be given a chance before the world cup but I don't think he can carry on for another 2 - 3 years because he is getting older and he hasn't played like he used to in a long time.

He could definately play for 2-3 years if he shows his capabilities and then is given a chance, but with the board we have i doubt it!!

definitely!if he performs well.i think he has served for the country for so long and he don't deserve the treatment which is given to him by the selectors.he shud b given a 2nd chance.but plzz stop blaming dravid for ganguly's dismissal.

he can and he should play but the selectors and the coach dont think like us, they consider their personal issues far more important than our team combination so what can we do. kiran more has declared that sourav wont make a comeback untill and unless he is a selector

I think he should be given at least one chance, it will help him to retire with respect as he is the most successful captain and also we cant ignore that in 2003 World Cup India reached till final in his captaincy.

I think he deserves more than what he has got.
I still think he is still better than Yuvraj ( in the tests)and should have been in the team instead of him.
In the onedays I think there is no place for him anymore but he would still be a formidible competitor for a slot.
