Varies from person to person and how long you've been together, what caused the end of the relationship, etc etc. Anywhere from a few weeks to years. Some people never get over another person. i.e. I think that the younger you are, the easier it is to get over someone and move on. Older people tend to have a harder time because their lifestyles tend to be less flexible and more established.

There is no fast way to get over someone you love. Firstly having loved someone makes it very hard to get over them. Just take the time out to remember the good times you shared and learn from the bad times. Healing takes time, so don't rush it.

There really isn't a "fast" way of getting over someone you love. But let me give you some tips that could help. Keep yourself busy, don't think about him get rid of everything that has to do with him, etc etc. You need to be with your friends at all times so they can help you get your mind off of him, and if you have a cellphone and he calls you sometimes, don't pick it up, give your phone to a friend and let them hold it for a week, trust me, it really helps.

Stay away from that person for a good long time. Keep busy with other friends. Think about something you used to enjoy but maybe stopped doing when you were with the person, and go do it. Take good care of yourself!

Why do you want to get over them in the first place? Did they cheat on you? Break up? Why did you break up? The easiest way to separate yourself from anything in life is to simply walk away and not look back. The key is to not look back. Just do it.

just try to find some friends or family that will be there for you to help you through it, depending on how much you cared for him, would depend on how quickly you can get over him, but it always helps to have people to talk to.
