The Prime Minister is more powerful as long as he is a good Prime Minister. He needs the Queen's approval and the Queen is obliged to give it. If for instance though the government and the Prime Minister were jeopardising the freedom and safetly of their citizens or becoming ruthless dictators, the Queen could (in theory) use her influence to raise the people and her armies against them.

It isn't really a question of who is more powerful, because they are not in competition. They each function in their own area. For example, the Queen does the ceremonial opening of Parliament, but the PM, who heads the ruling party, actually runs it on a day to day basis. They also can't be compared because the Monarch is an unchanging fixture. That is, the monarch is there for life. The Prime Minister has to be elected, and can be turfed out at any time, therefore the Monarch provides stability and continuity, while the PM represents the voice of the people.
It's a little complicated, but it's been honed over the years to a workable balance.
The Queen does have the power to dismiss the PM if she wishes, so in that sense, she is the more powerful. But it's a pretty unlikely scenario. When something political erupts, it's more usual for the offending party to tender his resignation and the Queen accepts it, rather than the Queen taking the initiative and firing him.

The PM has the power to run the whole state, while the Queen has only influence from behind the scenes

The PM because the Queen's not an autocrat so she doesn't have total rule. She has influence though. The Parliament is the most powerful I'd say.

Politically speaking, the PM wields the power; but psychologically, the Queen holds the British Empire in thrall.

The PM is more powerful in most situations now days, but the Queen has the right to overturn any law that she see's as unfit, but she has never actually used this right and I think that it is more for show than anything.

PM is ruling the executive.

Queen is just for fun and tourist. No, actually she impersonates UK values and is important for UK's image. She has a representative rule while being some kind of moral and ethic authority.

But I think she still has some army commandment, so don't interfere with Her.

The prime minister oversees the government, but the queen has ultimate authority over some things, apparently--remember, Tony Blair is trying to get an airplane? The problem is, if the queen wants it too, she gets first dibs.
