Absolutely normal! It's all about your hormones. Not everyone has the same hormone levels, nor do they have the same pregnancy problems!

Hot flashes are from an increase in your basal body temperature, my guess is that there might be a little dizziness involved. Acne is normal. And - be glad that you're not nauseated at all! Hopefully you won't be!

I'm currently in my 6th pregnancy, with twins. I've never had acne in my whole life, now I have it. This is the second pregnancy that I've had horrible morning sickness - all the others, well I was really hungry! And I had hot flashes when I was 19 and pregnant - which I don't have now at the age of 31!

It's all normal. In pregnancy, no one's the same. Just make sure that you eat healthy, get plenty of rest, and plenty of hydration.

Pregnancy symptoms vary from woman to woman. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and have has HORRENDOUS nausea but I know other women who've had none at all! (My mother had none with both her pregnancies).

Acne/spots are very common in pregnancy - its because of the changes in your hormones and your skin pumping out more oil which can block the pores.

As for the hot flashes - when you are pregnant the hormone progesterone is produced in much larger amounts in your body - this is a heat producing hormone which can make you feel hot and sticky. Its quite normal.

I had had symptoms that no other woman I know has had, and they have had symptoms which I haven't had so you can't always say this or that is "normal" - but what you've described sound like fairly standard pregnancy symptoms to me.

Yeah, it's normal because when you're pregnant you get these symptoms along with the opposite of hot flashes, acne, and nausea.

Yes to hot flashes (run cool water over the inside of your wrists and/or put a cold wash cloth around your neck like a scarf).
Acne - yes - everywhere!
And some other interesting developments!

Yes! It sounds perfectly normal to me...However, If in doubt or even a little bit worried, talk to your medical practitioner. It is scary to notice all these changes in your body but enjoy the experience.

It will all be worth it as you are growing another real human being.
What could be greater than that???

Lots of love & the very best of luck to you & your baby.

Anything can and does happen... all because of the pregnancy. I feel 93 years old. I miss my old body but can't wait to meet this new one growing inside. How far along are you. Prepare for general weirdness and loss of control!
