add corn flakes and beat it with the fruits in a food processor. It would provide all the vitamins, fibre and would make the mixture more consistent. It is healthier for the baby too.

if you dont wanna add cornflakes, you can take the mixture and pour it in a muslin cloth and drain all the liquid making it pulpy, but if you do that you lose all the vitamins and sugar of the fruit.

adding oatmeal is also an option to thicken, but it reduces the taste of the fruit considerably, if you are not bothered about the taste of it, then it is also a viable alternative for cute baby.

another option would be add cooked rice to the mixture, it would add consistency, not change the taste but if too much of rice is used it could make the mixture sticky.

last method is- try cooling the diced fruits before mashing them. Cooling diced fruits ensures maximum water shedding and then you can go ahead and grind them in a food processor. Then you could give it to the baby.

The best method is to use a baby cereal; If you have any allergy history in either parent's background, you need to take that into consideration in choosing what type. I had to use rice in my son's as my ex was allergic to many products, including wheat, and my son screamed in pain with his knees up to his belly the one time I tried a wheat cereal.

My son also like it when I would mix a banana in with his apple and this would thicken it up also. Another thing that worked to thicken up fruits was pudding.

Best of luck to you!
