Great question! It does bring up an interesting point. Because of our free society, the media has pretty easy access to traitorous leakers willing to hurt the country by revealing secrets. The media doesn't have to work hard.
But they sure don't want to try and reveal any secrets from the enemy. Just look at how CNN KNEW about Hussein's rape rooms and other attrocities before the war, but did they want to leak that information? Hell, NO!
Occasionally you see interviews with terrorist leaders. The media obviously know where these people are, but you sure don't see them leaking that information.

that is their mindset they politicize anything they can to make them look good like a few bad apples who abused soldiers now they make it look like our military is the bad guy and even use that against the president, like he told them to do it or something. They put their politics over the good of their country, and that is why it would be dangerous to elect one as the next president of the United States of America. It's amazing how little people know about Iraq yet they are so dead set against it, some of these answers are scary to see such ingorance about a topic, but yet beleive it so strongly. That is scary the liberal ignorance. If someone thinks this war is about oil or money they are really ignorant. Nobody wants to see them hurt the prisoners, that's not what we are saying, but liberals get mad when they put underwear over there head (which I'm not saying is right) but sure don't get that mad when they chop off our soldiers heads, and then they wonder why people question who's side they are on and question their patriotism.

Maybe when they know the secrets, and people like Rush Limbaugh can get off the pills long enough to realize "hey, I'm on the wrong side."

I think the question is when will the repuglican administration control the media so that they only report what they want you to hear. Sort of like China and Russia.
