Good idea , especially if they make a clearly poor decision.
There would need to be some other official watching the game and also photographic evidence and a exam board to help reach a decision. They could nt really be carded during the game but afterwards , they could have a investigation board and then the ref could be penalised in some way after.
The players and the manager would have to make an appeal in the game then afterwards the investigation board could examine it and take action as necessary
They do it in Formula one sucessfully

FIFA's big wigs already keep an eye on referees individual performances and do promote and demote in a carding sense.
During this World Cup Graeme Poll has already been Red Carded and sent home after his latest blunder of 3 yellow cards (before issuing a red) to one player in one particular match.
If he is the top referee in this country, as an ambassador represening England in refereeing it really is a sad state of affairs !!

I don't think they should be carded, at the end of the day in those 90 or 120 minutes they are the boss, But i think they should be reviewed after every game good or bad.
Some thing should be done then maybe drop the ones with bad accuracy ratings to the lesser games.

No, i don't think they should. I believe that they should be reprimanded; ie not being allowed to ref for a game... but someone needs to be in charge...

good question ,, it would have to be up to the FIFA to do it ,, they admitted the refereeing isn´t up to this level of play ,, a yellow card they miss next game , 2 yellows they miss the rest of the season ,,

then what makes football if you careded the the one in charge then really theres no point in having a reff if your gonna say hes wrong, because he makes the decison of the game

bad officials for Fifa will have played their last games if they foul up too badly..they go back to officiating HS and College games..
