look up their name in the phone book. Write them a letter at that address. In the letter give your e-mail address. Ash them to e-mail you.

I'm assuming you can't just ask this person for their email address. So unless they've listed it for public view, there's no way you'll find it.
You can try and use Yahoo's people finder, but again...you'l only find it if they have a yahoo account and allow public access. There are also services that folks can register their account on, but you have to pay to become a member in order to find out the information. Good Luck!

You may try a few educated guesses:
first.lastname@companyheworksat.com
or
initiallastname@companyheworksat.com
You can check internet for company domains...
Otherwise, you are stuck. there isn't a directory such as with phones... each provider can give emails, and the person may have several, even dozens of emails.

You can always try a simple search on google.
Using their name & surname...
Mostly, if the person is a bit active on the internet, there is one point where you can hoock on, where you continue working from.
Using as much as possible search engines is a must in this technique...
