Lesbos is a Greek island!
Sappho is one of the most famous poets.
She had a happy family and was enjoying life and her "job"!
Among the other poems, she wrote poems ordered by clients. So, some of them were requested by young men for their loves!
Later, when the Roman Christians were reading Sappho's poems "accused" her for homosexuality and since she was from Lesbos, homosexuals took the "title": Lesbians!
Similar the Roma Christians did to many other profound Greek figures and philosopher, since the Romans, Jews and others were much inferior to the greatness of those Greeks! So, instead of promoting the Truth, they were throwing mad to the memory of the greatest of the world!
