when i first began to read nicholas and reggie's story in "Love Only Once" i was captivated! i could not put my book down and did not put the book down until i was finished!!! IT WAS WORTH IT i loved all the malory family characters but "love only once" is my all time favorite malory novel. Johanna lindsey writes with style and captivating imagination which makes her story one to be read again and again (I've read this book FIVE times and am still captured by the romance) the witty sparing between all the characters will keep you entertained for a long time. This is definitely one to keep in your collection. Regina Ashton is looking to marry a man that will be approved by all FOUR of her uncles.....and there starts her story ......you will not regret buying this book one of JL's BEST

Some of her books are really great.eg:You belong to me.The heroine was awesome.As a rule I hate heros who run after other women after they meet the heroine.But it was a pleasure to see Alexandra threatening the other women if they so much as cast an eye towards Vasili.She's brave,smart and knows how to deal with the hero.And it was a real change to see a Russian heroine.I was getting tired of the staple British and American heroines.But some of Johanna lindsey's books are really terrible.With obnoxious heros and weak heroines.eg:Surrender My Love.The hero was a real jerk.

I have found Johanna Lindsay to be an excellent author myself. I have read and re-read several of her books many times, and in fact I have several that i keep for the rainy days.

I typically enjoy her work. My favorite is LOVE ME FOREVER. I checked it out of the library, loved it, quickly forgot the name of the book and the author, and searched for years to find that great book with the great Scottish hero for years until I found it on a clearance table! It wasn't until I got home and began reading that I realized I'd finally found my "missing" favorite book.
