It is normal for your period to vary and not just stress but a change in schedule, change in weight or eating habis affect your hormones and thereby affect your period and when you have it.

When your age my diet and hours that I would be up and go to bed would change, along with my diet, and would always affect when I could expect my period to come (I would stay up later, get up later and eat more junk food and pop) and mine would be 1-3 weeks later than it was during the school year. When I used to crash diet in college (which I would not recommend) my periods would cease for over a month and when I was majorly stressed, I would have one every 2-3 weeks. My point is, everyone is different and there are many factors that may cause your hormones to change and therefore, affect your period.

If it you have major worried over any pains, then talk to you Mom and see about getting in to see your doctor.

Best of luck to you, hon!

There is nothing to worry about. Sometimes, even after two years your period can still get messed up. Just because you're young. When mine comes late I never think I've been stressed out either. It's a natural fluctuation. It's probably coming later because you are so worried. So calm down. If you get really stressed out, you might even skip this one.

as you get older your period starts to change. i myself am 17 years old and my period fluctuates all the time. it is totally and completely normal to have a late period or early period now and then. i have have had it since i was eight years old, and it first started out very reagular and now it seems i either get it every other month or every two months. it is just the way your body is changing, dont be scared.

hey! there's nothing to worry about... at your age, your body is still changing and the hormones in our bod is till working out. i usually have my period on the first week of the month but sometimes it will aive in the mid or later part of the month! just don't stress yourself and have always eat a balanced diet. take your vitamins (the one with iron is good for girls with who has their periods delayed) and execise daily.

This is normal, sometimes your body needs time to clean itself with your period coming down on a monthly basis. With the bloodflow coming down as it does, the center from which the blood comes from needs to regain inner cleaning.

your period is probably just trying ot regulate itself.. also if there are other females around (i know it sounds wierd) but your alls periods will try to go in sync with one another
