It all depends on what industry your in and country.

But if you are UK based:-
UNISON - Health Care/Social Work/Nursing
Transport and General Workers - Bus Drivers/Professional Drivers (the best one to go with)
GMB

Other industries have their own unions as well

be careful, most unions support the democrat party and the democrats always chase business out of the country by slapping companies with new regulations and taxes.

that's why most motor companies went south, less regulations, less taxes.

i was in one when i was at my last job it was USDAW I'm sure that was it, it's been is been a while. i don't know where you live but i just looked up the phone book when i had lost the number so you could try in there or the yellow pages. i liked them they did ok by me. hope it helps
