is there a symbol for loyalty? if so what does it look like - in depth description or links to websites with pics pease. if there is 1 its a possibility for a tattoo

しんぎ, (shingi) is roughly translated as fidelity, loyalty, faith etc.
It is written: 信義 in Kanji.

Another word for Loyalty or devotion is ちゅうぎ (Chuugi), written 忠義 in Kanji.

Considering solely the aesthetic looks of the characters, I think the latter, 忠義 will look better as a tattoo than 信義. (But, 信義 is more of a feminine word than 忠義, as 忠義 has a masculine tone). This is my personal opinion.

Keep in mind that Kanji (Which Japanese use) are really Chinese characters, not Japanese.

If you want a Japanese tat you would have to go with either しんぎ or ちゅうぎ, but they don't look as nice.
