1) A scale is the unit to measure the mass and volume of a specific object.
2) Weight measurer? (I am not very sure of this)
3) It depends. If it is digital, you can simply read the number reading but if it is manual, you have to look at the "small lines" that indicate the mass and volume of an object shown in kilograms or something like that.

I am not sure that all of this are correct but I hope this would give you clues to your answers. Good luck!

A scale is a measurement ratio device
It depends what you r measuring.
a good scale for perspective is a volt/ohmmeter
basic electronic formula:
volts= resistance x amperage
volts / resistance= amperage
volts / amperage= resistance
Take a battery, measure the ends w/ voltmeter, gives u volts
take that battery, attach one leg of a bulb to one end of the battery, on the other end of the battery, place one end of ann ammeter, the other end goes to the other bulb leg, Amps
Take the bulb, place one leg on a ohm meter & the other leg on the ohmmeter.
The third test should verify the first two measurments you got off your 'voltscale' and your 'ampscale'

In most biological nomenclature, a scale (Greek lepid, Latin squama) is a small rigid plate that grows out of an animal's skin to provide protection. In lepidopteran species, scales are plates on the surface of the insect wing, and provide coloration. Scales are quite common and have evolved multiple times with varying structure and function.

There are various types of scales according to shape and to class of animal.
