I have lots in my house even though I hoover and clean daily! I don't want to kill them (if possible) just make them leave.

ant powder is advised all around the bottom of exterior walls but i think they live in cavity walls so dont know if it would do any good. did you know they are a member of the crab and lobster family that have adapted to living inland

You can get electronic pest deterrents that don't involve using checmicals.
