My inner Picasso right now would be quite strange. I just woke up and I have an exam in 5 hours :( hehe.

I would use those poster size paper, and scribble wide with my eyes closed with a pencil, very fast, until I can feel that everything I scribbled would have meaning. The meaning in my case... would be simple. I would then choose the color green, with that color I would imagine what I have learned in the previous day about what I have studied. Lines in Math represent everything. Everything is connected somehow, in my case, the longer the line the more I don't understand (since it takes space), the shorter the line the more I understand.

For example I am learning Heap Sort (which is some sort of algorithm), I would find myself an area (which wont be hard) that resembles a tree like heirachy... Then I will draw quick sort and other stuff.

If you look what the ancient artists do, each one knows how powerfull lines could be. Lines connect stuff, lines mean everything. I might be crazy ... But I am crazy most of the times :p. Now my portrait that I just drew will resemble what is in my brain which will make you guys wonder "what the hell that is", but it will make other people wonder "ahhh it is Analysis and Algorithms of Computational Behavoir, that is so cool". Lines can represent the brain as well. Theoretically, a brain is a pathway of knowledge so some person could interpret my drawing in a different way, which is a good thing.

So yes Lines in pencil, green(since green mean "calm", and "spiritual", and "happy" in most cultures if not all) for answers that is currently mapped in my brain. And Light Black that fills up the gaps that I have no answer too!

I don't know, that is my Inner Picasso at this time. And everyone knows that picasso does not have 1 specific style hence his creativity. Ohhh I am so spooky!

It would take more than a thousand words to describe this picture, but I will give a brief view with words:

Most of the canvas is black or very dark gray (a cold bluish gray). Off center, but leading into this block of black is a tunnel, larger than one made for automobiles or even trains. You could almost fly a passenger plane down the shaft. The perception is as if from low in this tunnel, like a person walking.

At the very end of the tunnel is an area that is very bright, like a sun shiny day, perhaps with high puffy whites clouds in the sky. In the background of the “end of the tunnel” is a garden, with bright trees and odd plants scattered over a plush green lawn. Flowers and dragon flies and butterflies of every possible color are interspersed among and above the green and sometimes variegated plants. A few brightly colored birds have taken wing (the kind of colors one would associate with rain forest birds).

In the foreground of the opening (end of the tunnel) stands a woman of remarkable beauty. Her arms are stretched out, as if in welcome. The image immediately brings “Goddess” or “Elfin Queen” or “Earth Mother” to mind. But the woman is a spirit or ghost, almost transparent. You can see the garden through her, as if she were not real. The exception is her blood red heart. Not a Valentine’s day shape, but an anatomy chart perfect representation. It seems whole and solid and beating with a slow natural rhythm.

The picture is titled “Hope” which is written in almost 300 different languages.

Thank you for the Q. I answer it because I want to keep it forever in my Q&A page.

The colours that better reflect how I feel today? It is blue, light blue and bright cream (with some orange and verdana). To be found in one of my most favourite paintings, “The messenger”.

Here, most of the canvas is dark blue of the ocean, enlightened with light blue of the sea waves, bright cream of a temple column, some orange in the book's pages and verdana.
The temple column is in bright cream - that enlightens the painting - and it is emerging from the earth. The earth is showing as it is presented from the satellite – dark blue and light blue waves - and on the middle of the earth is emerging the column. At the top of the column, there is an open book and a flame on the right part. The book is in light blue, cream and orange. All around the earth there is a light cream line that separates it from the dark blue of the ocean. In the middle of the page, over the book, there is the foot of the winged God Hermes, that has taken off, ready to conquer the world.
The wings are cream and bright.

I would like to do also a small comment, without any intention for cheating – just to compare the visions, if you allow me. I have read all the previous postings and I noticed that Richard refers to a painting, entitled Hope. He is describing the painting – must be very nice, indeed - saying that hope is at the upper edge. Here is the difference. In the messenger, the light colour is everywhere, showing that hope is everywhere if we are able to distinguish it.

Due to sheer complexity of the human mind, any picture describing emotions will be a mix of the entire spectrum of colors. My emotions vary with time. But If I try to copy my general mental state into a canvas, here’s something that I’ll get.

There’s a nineteen-year stuck to the corner (feelings of intense loneliness ) of the sheet, gazing at the rest of the picture with a sense of uncertainty & fear. You can see feelings of insecurity in his eyes. He has his hands on his ears, firmly closed. What is it that is such a pain for his ears? You see faint images in the background, almost like shadows; but then it’s pitch black, you can hardly see the shadows! There’s something close to his heart, something hidden in the pocket, u hardly get to notice it. Then u can see a drop, just a single drop of tear, slightly making it’s way down his sad eyes onto his cute little cheeks. But still the boy tries to put a smile on his face!!!!

Hmmm… I’m not Picasso & I had to do all that with my limited vocabulary!!!

Right now that would be a picture of a woman in a chair with lightning bolts by her left hip. Otherwise I a calm and serene in green. Husband and daughter are both being very helpful. Larry brought the laptop to the hospital so I could rate questions--I didn't feel up to answering. But I love reading other questions.

At the risk of sounding trite, I am probably most inspired to do something like that old cartoon from the 70's ... a fierce eagle, talons extended and wings back in braking position with a fiery look upon it's face in the final moment before siezing the mouse ...

... and of the little mouse, standing defiantly with finger in air !

Having spent the better part of two months on YA, unfortunately, I don't feel very creative at all anymore. This site has had that effect upon me.

I will take a white canvas. I will draw saffron background. A scene of sunrise with trees, river, mountains around me and I shall myself be doing the meditation, making prayers to the Almighty for my salvation. I would like to break this circle of life and death, health and disease, youth and oldage. This world is punishment to me for some of my sins which I did in the previous birth and I dont know when I shall be blessed with Salavation by the almighty. I will draw a picture which depict these kind of emotions. I will use natural colours of the things surrounding me.

My original answer was going to be that it would be a picture of a couple sailing on a lake in a glass bottom boat. He would be reading poetry while she rested her head in his lap. The colors would be deep reds, blues and greens. Signifying the end of a beautiful day and a love that grows deeper.

But recent developments make me want to change that to a great big red faced tomato. I did something really embarrassing and stupid and I hope my friend will forgive me!
