i feel it misleads certain people like me, about who you are and what your gender is

If I could get the darn thing to work I'd have a cool avatar like a dragon! I don't particularly care whether people think I'm male or female.
I'm female...I like dragons. Nuff said.

My avatar is female but that's just because I prefer looking at a female face when I'm using my mail. I never use it to represent myself online as I don't wish to mislead other users.

No, I don't think people do change the gender of their avatar. What's the point of doing so anyway?

.... at the end of the day, ppl are misled...
