We cannot do anything, it is by nature, if a man by heart is good, then he will do all the good things that he thinks will be useful for his country and his country men. Second is self discepline (i.e. Japanese), thats why, even after got defeated in WW-2, they managed to rise in terms of economic and social values. These politicians were fully educated and knew exactly what they are doing. Let us accept the truth, that who ever enters politics has the intent to enrich himself and his family, either by doing legitimate or eligitimate businesses. Not only in India, but most of the third world country.

Hmmm.. good question.
1> Indian polititians should go round the country seeing in every main city that everythin' is fine.
2> We are democratic & republic. the govt should ask the people any work to do.
3> There should be a link between the govt & the people. The people should tell all their sousis (worries) to the govt and govt should work it out on the same day if possible.
4> and many more views. first ask the rest indians.

Mandatory death sentence for anyone proven guilty in any form of "corruption" - applies to all: from the policeman to the judges to all government employees of the state/country. Anything less than draconian is a compromise; and when there's a compromise there will be corruption.
