The song was originally played in french and Arabic by a Moroccan singer, sometimes in the 80s-90s.
Aicha is a name, of Arabic origin, probably an ex-girlfriend of the artist.
They probably chose to cover it because of their Arabic origin and because the song became a symbol for the Arabic woman and her values and beauty.
Never said it was french, but the lyrics are in french :)

aicha , she is a girl that she's want to be a women, but
the man who propose that not interese aicha, after she meets
another romantic man.....it's works.

as it is clear from video they are trying to portray a Muslim girl and her life.so its not AICHA its AESHA.its a Arabic word.its name for girls.

its actually a cover from some other guy who did it - but that guy covered it as well....
