Book them a hot air balloon trip.This is a 2 hour trip and breathtaking.Memorable,all your family could club together for this extra special gift.They certainly would never forget it.Older people have everything,jewellery,ornaments,they have travelled most places.It gets more difficult.This would be a special treat for a special couple.

Talk to your local gift store and ask them what you get for a person who has been marrieed for however long they have been married' IE 50 yrs =gold 25 silver (not really the right gifts) ask the store clerk

The top of my list is an anniversary clock that plays different chimes and present it at party that includes their wedding party as a surprise.

dont give them cash - they won't use it. book and send them away on a holiday to somewhere they've always wanted to go (obviously, make it affordable for yourself)
