Hi,
this is a VERY difficult question.
I have on my Computer one of the biggest music collections with 500.000 Songs around the world for private people.
I have of course a lot of love songs. The problem for slow love songs is that the new way of music does not bring to many sad love songs anymore because it is to slow and to much melodie.
The new time since 1995 changed a lot because the music does not need qualitity anymore. The girls just need to show some sexy parts of the body and they get a song on mtv. And not a lot of melodie is needed. They make drum beats with the computer and that was it and a little "Sha-la-la".
I would choose this songs, even not modern anymore, but nice melodies. The most are very famous.
A-Ha - Crying In The Rain.Mp3 (A good cover version of this famous song)
Bad Company - Don't Let Me Down.mp3

Elton John - Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word.mp3
Eric Clapton - Tears In Heaven.mp3 (He wrote this song for his infant son who died because te maid was reading comics instead of watching him. The son crawled in the kitchen to the window and fell 11 stores down in New York while Eric was bying food.)

Muse Endlessly
There's part of me you'll never know
it's the only thing I'll never show
hopelessly I'll love you endlessly
hopelessly I'll give you everything
but I won't give you up
I won't let you down
and I won't leave you falling
If the moment ever comes
It's plain to see it's trying to speak
cherished dreams forever asleep
hopelessly I'll love you endlessly
hopelessly I'll give you everything
but I won't give you up
I won't let you down
and I won't leave you falling
and if the moment ever comes
hopelessly I'll love you endlessly
hopelessly I'll give you everything
but I won't give you up
I won't let you down
and I won't leave you falling
but the moment never comes
