I do not want to risk lowering performance or getting into adware, viruses or spyware. windows does not recognize its electronic "signature". Thanks!

Firefox is, without a doubt, the best browser there is. I used to use Opera, but one day I downloaded Firefox on a whim. I'll never go back. Download it, install a few themes and extensions, and you'll see what all the hype is about. Good luck!

dont mess with the performance settings then. the default keep a lot out. firefox doesnt suck, it rules!
IE = yahoo
Firefox = google
google rules!!

I got mine 6 months ago and it's better than IE6.
