It is not slower, it seems to be but the players playing this game feels passion and fastness inside.

Cricket is an extremly skillfull game. Yes test matches are played over 5 days so in relation to other sports this is a long time. The game has got quicker over the last few years with runs being scored at a quicker rate and less draws.
For the quicker version there is the One Day International. A lot faster paced.
Off course you really need to understand the game to really enjoy it. Cricket certainly struggles in todays world of "instant" satisfaction and results and that is a shame.

The original version of Cricket 'Test Mode' was a Posh game played by wealthy lot.
The new commercial mode of 'ODIs' is much more exciting and attracts a lot of attention in the media.
Its true that its still longer than any other team sport...but Cricket is fast evolving with the introduction of the 'Twenty20s' for eg.
As for the matter of it being a sick game...thats all a matter of preference. People find Golf a boring game...but those i know who love golf are prepared to stick with it with all the other sports on one side and Golf on the other...

Cricket maybe slower than other games because it has lots of events.. Some players can make the game really slow but players like Sanath, Dhoni, Sehwag, Gilchrist, Gibbs make it interesting to watch.

the game has always been like that. the 2 forms of cricket are odis which go on for a day and the other one which is test which goes on for 5 days, its fun for some and not for many yet there is some sort of excitement when cricket is going on

how can u say that...its all about intrest.u r saying it bcoz u dont have intrest in the game...Look at golf dont u think its much slower than cricket...Look at chess dont u think its slowest...Look at snooker...If my intrest is not in football I can say how boring it is coz 22 players running for one ball and in the end result is just 1 or 2 goal.So its all about intrest.Cricket is such a skillfull game the twist and turn it takes no other game have that...If u look at the rules i dont think so anyother game have that much rules as of cricket...Cricket have vareity of players (Batsman,Bowlers,Keeper,All Rounder,Feilder) Cricket have different forms Test,One day,Nowadays Twenty Twenty so it has got so much in it but its all depends on Intrest my friend

Don't worry. that's the nature of the game. If you are a real cricket fan you won't mind that. first time you see a whole mtach you might think so, but when you keep watching your fear goes. (But don't waste too much of your electricity bill!)
