Adam Joseph Copeland (born October 30, 1973 in Orangeville, Ontario), is a Canadian professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Edge. Copeland is currently wrestling on the RAW brand of World Wrestling Entertainment. A former WWE Champion, Copeland initially rose to fame as a member of The Brood stable and one half of the tag team Edge and Christian.
Copeland gained a degree of infamy following the revelation in February 2005 that he had conducted an adulterous affair with fellow WWE employee Amy "Lita" Dumas. This led to Copeland divorcing his wife and Dumas separating from her long-term boyfriend, Matt Hardy (who was briefly released from WWE after publicizing the event).
