Whats the worst job you've ever had, Oh and how long did you keep it?

I had to work on the telephone selling hoovers once! You try selling a hoover that costs £1500,00 over the phone!
Did it once then quit! Only got £20 !

Oh hang on, I rememeber answering a ad in the paper for confident outgoing people! I went and it was selling badges outside HMV on the high street! Wearing a chicken outfit! Dont ask! 2 hrs and i was off! Got 10p for every badge sold and I sold 1! So I came back with 10p!

properly, whilst i grow to be particularly inebriated at a stay overall performance in Hartford, I informed the guy promoting concessions he had the worst interest ever. Trimming Christmas wood with a machete at a Christmas tree farm interior the main well liked part of the summer season grow to be the worst interest I had. to no longer point out, it ignored a lake that we could no longer leap in.

There is nothing more frustrating that getting a job that connotes greatness to the world outside and connotes menial labour to the bosses inside ... this happened to me once and I lasted 3 months. The lesson learnt was to look for contracdictory signs from the interview stage onwards and always get the greatest possible clarity on your role - before you sign on the dotted line ;o))

Worst job: Retail, particularly when I worked in a restaurant to a department store, customers were so rude! I'll never forget when it was the Christmas period (2002) and there was this HUGE queue, this woman was moaning her food was cold, I offered to re-heat it, she was still moaning and I didn't know what else to do for her and then she pipes up with: "Shove it up your @rse"! Not being the one to take cr*p like that I responded with: "Shove it up YOUR @rse you f*cking b!tch" (Customer service training obviously went in one ear and out the other). Grrr, HATE retail! I did that for about 6 years (I was a student).
I now work with a firm of a solicitors and I LOVE it! It always amazes me how some people can be on the brink of losing their children in family proceedings or their liberty in criminal proceedings and they are so polite! Then you get twats telling to you shove their cold brekkie up your @ss ... Mad isn't it?!

According to the TV poll, the worst job was a Turkey impregnater. He had to use a pipette to suck semen out of the male turkey then impregnate the female!! Yes sometimes he would get a mouthful!!!! YUK

Working in a hospital cleaning the sheets, I lasted about 20 mins before I got some sheets that were covered in blood puke and ****, then i said bollocks and went home!

I worked in a fish market. kept it for about 6 months or so.
After work, after two showers I still couldn't get the stench off me. Did a number on any attempt to pick up women.
