If theyre mature adults, secure in their love, then there IS no jealosy. And someone said this is why they keep divorcing and such... it isnt really. The REAL reason actors get together and split up is this:

They got together with other ACTORS. People who dont know their OWN emotions, let alone their partners. Sometime down the road, the mask slips, the partner sees exactly what it was he DID marry and BOOM call a lawyer.

Here's what I suggest. It'll take some bravery but if you can pull it off, it'll be great for both of you.

Study theatre a bit. Watch his movies. Talk to him about it. What you want to do is understand the mindframe that he has to get into when he does his work, and then you should understand that it isn't the same, in his mind, as being with you. That will satisfy your logical side.

Your emotional side is harder to convince. Try to get excited about his work and really appreciate it. If you yourself are not very artistic, take an art class to help get the spirit of creativity in you (acting/dramatic reading would be ideal). You have to KNOW that he is doing a good thing, but you also have to FEEL it. Use his unique job as an opportunity to bond and also expand yourself.

Good luck.
