How do you think I can make someone belive that I had nothing to do with a rumour that its said that I started. And this person has lost alot of trust in me to the point that I'm not believed no matter what I try to do to say I didnt start it? I want to keep this relationship is it gone?

What makes him believe that the rumors were spread by you? Are all the "evidences" pointing towards you? Then first thing you have to do is disprove them. Explain things to him and have friends back you up. Relationships are built on trust. If your friend/partner doubts you because of ONE RUMOR,
maybe trust is missing in the first place. Ask yourself, then, "Is he worth keeping and fighting for?"

Stop spreading rumors so you don't have to "think" how would you make someone else believe you did not started it or have anything to do with it in the first place.

Find a friend you trust who can verify the true source
of the rumor, then have them confirm the fact that
you never started it to the "someone" in question.

you have to look this person in the eye and swear that you had nothing to do with the rumour. Tell this person that you would never do such a thing because your relationship with him or her is way too important to you.good luck!
