Should and could are nice words that express the desire that everything be fair in life. Life is not fair. It is the hard lesson that eventually each of us has to learn, and then move on. If you have an idea, and it was stolen, then learn from the mistakes, and don't fall into the same situation again. Protect your idea so it cannot happen to you again that someone steals your own idea.

This has happened for years and is very unjust.

The persons doing the stealing are "very" well fixed with money.
One would think that having the original papers, tapes, etc.,entrusted
to your lawyer would do the trick. It doesn't.The thieves simply post
date very similar work and claim they were thinking along the same
lines as your work,of course two years prior to you.
The court goes along with the big shots and you have nothing to show for your hard work but expenses.
If I were to name names of the biggest thieves of all you would fall out of your chair.
I will say only this "they are the most well known people in
the industry" (household names known the world over!)
