This is a serious question, I have no idea. Are they trying to kill people or do they just want power?

They're using it as leverage to get what they want from the United States. They don't even have to have them, all they have to do is say they do. The US can't afford to tackle Afghanistan, Iraq, and North Korea - so they're taking advantage of current circumstances to get free stuff.

Like a nuclear reactor, food, money, aid... etc.

they're gonna use it to gain power in the world. i mean, onli about 10 countries have ever developed nuclear weapons so obviously, if north korea develops it, the us will be pretty scared.

i reckon they're making a big deal of the missile business so that either way, they'll win. they'll either test a missile or the us will have to make some deal that helps north korea, like aid packages, etc

Good question....probably the same reason America has the bombs. America enjoy killing people and having the resulting power ....just look at the Middle East!
