I has taken me years and years to get pregnant. The idea that "normal" people do it within about 3 months and its only those with problems who take longer is a fallacy. I have had all the tests under the sun, including a laparoscopy under general anaesthetic and they found nothing wrong, I just couldn't get pregnant! I eventually conceived this year after years and years of trying and being told we'd need IVF (which we can't afford to pay for).

As for the feeling sick well thats what happened when you DO get pregnant - if you think she is then she should take a blood or urine test - you can buy urine tests to do at home or the doctor can arrange a blood test.

If you are concerned that its taking a long time then see your doctor and ask if you can have some tests and investigations done to check everything is alright. It probably is.

Try getting close within the 9th and 21st day of her periods.This is the best fertile period of a woman. Geter ultrasound done after 14 days of her cycle if still not coneived. May be her ovum is not formed or formation is delayed n u do not come closer at the right time.

You also get ur semen test done , may b there is a problem with the spermcount. or something. Consult ur gynae immediately as it will take 6 - 12 mths after going 2 doctor.remember ur tensionsduring sex also hampers conception. Everything will be fine I can understand. Good luck.

If she has morning sickness already you met want take a home pregnancy test. That one the signs of being pregnant. I know that cause with both of my kids that was the worst part of being pregnant. When you take the home test if the line is there but you can hardly see it wait a couple of weeks or go to the doc. office

some times transfering of sperm is affected by external tempratures,
alow the last drop of semen also to enter vagina properly.
