Time heals nothing... sorry to say, but it's true. Some people can be healed within weeks for something that takes another person years. It's all personal... you have to deal with it in your own way.
My mother died almost 10 years ago when I was 15 and it hurts every day. I got over the crying and depression some what quickly, but the feeling of lonliness and loss is still with me. Just be patient and give yourself time to explore your feelings, understand them, and deal with them on your own time. Don't let anyone try to tell you that it's taking too long, because they don't know how your brain or your emotions handle things of this nature. Only you know that, and only you know how to fix it.

Death is not a beginning or ending thing. The pain will always be there no matter what. You have to learn to cope with it. I lost my father 2 1/2 years ago and It hurts like it was just yesterday. The pain never goes away. He does come in my dreams and he gives me signs that he is always with me. That's what makes me strong knowing he is with me all the time in spirit and that I know he will be waiting for me on the other side when my time comes. Keep your faith!

Time doesn't heal. It's what you do with it that heals. Sometimes it helps to say goodbye one last time even if it's only in your dreams. And sometimes it helps to do a downward spiral so you realize that your life is worth living eventually. And it'll always hurt, you just need to spend time doing things that make you happy even though it hurts.

You don't....! You just carry on, and there is always a void that will never be filled... The person is in your heart, and memories, don't ever let those die...You will always look at pictures, and think about the person, all the good times, hard times, sad time, you will remember the things you shared, and cared about... Just carry on, you are hurting inside, looking at pictures and your memories will keep this person alive in your heart...

Well life has to go on. You don't die with the person who passed on. though we may not keep remembering the person every moment but he/she remains in our subconscious mind and from time to time their memory comes to the forefront. But I believe that we should remember our departed ones with a smile and remember the good times we spent with them. When my mom passed away I was just 17 and I thought that now life has no meaning for me. But life went on and slowly the pain went away and was replaced with pleasant memories. the sense of loss is always there but we have to go on. May all the departed souls rest in peace.

You'll never get over losing someone, you just learn to live with your grief. Time doesn't actually heal, it just teaches you how to cope.

There's no easy way to get over death. Just take each day as it comes, and maybe things might become easier to handle.

You might not get over it but you have to accept that they are gone and are gone for a reason. You have to learn to live with them gone. You have to keep good memories of them.
