I wanted to know is anyone has one, (It's a tat that you can only see under a black light. You don't see it in regular light, but when you go to a club it shines.) And how much are they costing compared to a regular tattoo?

I have heard that the colors dont show up all that well and that the ink doesnt color very good. the tattoo after wards looks really splotchy. And I have heard that the inks are not all that safe either.
BUT there is evidence of black light tattoos being done well and safely.. I guess there have been quite a few advancements since i got my first tattoo 10 years ago ;)
check out this site for some good "PR" on black light tattoos

I have heard a lot of mixed reviews on this. I really suggest talking to the artists at a couple of different shops. They will give you the most objective answers.

I don't have one, but my friend told me that they cost extra because a special kind of ink is required and that they are more painful because of the chemicals used in the ink.

my tat artist told me that the ink was not safe and could burn you or give you cancer.
