sugarbear is right, but she should also mention that, according to god, people who break law, and harm others need to pay the price for their wrongdoing. You can be assured that the person who did this will pay. Whatsoever a man sows, that is what he reaps. I believe in forgiveness, but I also believe in punishment. Especially for a vile crime like this. Don't seek your own revenge , but leave room for the wrath of god.

How could God ever condone any kind of violence against anyone?! If you are being told otherwise, someone is trying to blame you, the victim, for something that is clearly not yoru fault. God doesn't blame the victim of theft or murder, why would rape be different?
Please consider getting some counseling, even if this did not happen recently. There is usually a local rape crisis number in the phone book, or call 411.
Best of luck with healing after your ordeal.

Rape is to do sexual intercourse without the consent of the partner. From Christian point of view rape means to do sex wi th force and without consent of sexual partner. The bible is a sacred book. It does not teach you to do sex without consent. It on the other hand guides you to do sex with the consent and also within the channel of marriage. Christian are very good people. They dont' like to do rape when they can do it with the consent of the partner. I therefore feel that you are somewhat mistaken about the concept of rape. I think now it has been very clear to you as to what rape means.

The Christian view is if you accept Jesus then when you die you go to heaven even if you rape. So a guy rapes hundreds of women and goes to heaven. Same if he kills lots of native Americans or Amer-Indians or burns witches since they are Godless savages.
Then a women spends her whole life helping out rape victims but does't accept Jesus so she goes to hell. See this site with a non-Christian view of what Jesus and psychologists think about this. http://phifoundation.org/life.html

I am sorry for what happened. I dont know about christianity, in our religin, the person who rapes, if single, he is beaten by a hard rope 80 times. if married, people will throw stones at him until he dies. Both punishment in the public eye.

Rape isn't your fault. It's the attacker's fault. You did nothing wrong. God forgives in this situation. You need to pray for the person who violated you. We need to pray for our enemies. No need to worry. I'm sorry it happened to you...

I am so sorry this happened to you. This is not your fault and God does not blame you, so you have no reason to ask for forgivness for this.
