the active ingredient in marijuana, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is a lipid soluble compound that distributes itself throughout the body (not just fat cells! all cells have fatty components) with concentrated amounts in the liver, kidneys, and lungs. lipid soluble compounds are notoriously hard to get rid of. even if you exercise a lot and are very thin, your cell membranes and various connective tissues are lipid-based. drinking water won't do anything to increase the metabolic rate but it will dilute the blood concentrations of metabolites. but since it also increases the volume of the urine, you probably peed out the same amount of metabolites.
THC leaves the body mostly via urine as it is metabolized to more water-soluble compounds. the whole process begins almost immediately in the liver, but complete metabolism and excretion is slow. the half-life is about 30 hours... so 30 hours after you smoked 4 bowls, assuming you didn't smoke again, you've got 2 bowls worth left in you. traces can be detected even thirty days later. these aren't exact figures, everyone's metabolic rate is different.
if you smoked five weeks ago and not since, and gave an urine sample today, your results might be negative. you are still within the range, though... all i can say is keep your fingers crossed.
i am curious what the purpose of the drug screening is. are you applying for a job? have you enlisted in the military? did you get caught in possession, and they are trying to build evidence against you in a trial? are you in rehab?
in some cases, testing positive on a drug test is going to be very bad times for you. if it's a matter of getting hired or not... eh. there are other jobs, not everyone screens. using marijuana tends to make you lazy, dopey, slow-reacting, etc but not all jobs really need better performance than that. it's just a matter of showing up.... if you're in rehab--- you're not doing a good job but i'd personally rather you smoke pot than huff paint-thinner or snort coke. it's less damaging to your brain and body, and generally less addictive.
if you're in legal trouble, however, this could be very bad times. current laws (are you in the US?) make it very easy to lock up marijuana users for a long time. possession of one joint can mean 20 years in state prison. the drug policy doesn't make sense, and is largely ineffective in its current state. i doubt it will change any time soon, though.

Okay, let me try to clear this up...
THC from cannabis (reefer...) is stored in tha fat cells of the body. Most other chemiclas are just transported by the blood to the kidneys or absorbed and coverted by the liver into nothing detectable within two or three days. Weed is special, don't you know.
Since it is stored in the fat and fat is broken down in the body as food (metabolised...) then whatever is in the fat can be detected when you urinate.
In general...
people who smoke weed every day will take about 30 days to have their system cleared of fat-stored THC once they stop smoking. People who smoke less than that have less of a time to be clear, on a sliding scale.
Since you only smoked four bowls four weeks ago, your test will come back negative (clear...).
A urine test is not so high-tech. The hair one is high-tech but very expensive. Don't worry, everything will be fine.

I wonder if your drug use is affecting how you spell? Are you sure it was 5weeks ago that you last smoked. Seriously, it can take up to six weeks to get out of your system. It's the affect on your brain that is irreparable. Although you do sound like you have remorse and that is good! Good Luck!

Maybe you should have thought about that before smoking weed. Not very smart.
