British Petroleum(bp) is a British energy company with headquarters in London.
The newly-renamed "bp" became an initialism no longer overtly standing for "British Petroleum". At the same time BP used the punning tagline "Beyond Petroleum" in some advertising campaigns.

hmmm it stands for beyond petroleum trust me i know i put 98 octane in my car evry 3rd day its bloody expensive and its a pretty good gas station really
