If I was emotionless and didn't feel the pain I felt in past, I would not have grown wiser, realised the pain in others, learnt to grow up, to look in the mirror and learn I am accountable for my own actions and the world owes me nothing.

One moves forward but embracing the lessons of the past and using them to grow strong. Man, thank God I walked through storm because man, I feel strong and I see more clearly.

So I rather have emotions or I am not going to learn and get stronger. Imagine not feeling fear. Courage isn't about absence of fear but doing what you got to do with fear walking with you. Which is why many live a mediocre life because they live with fear of action and stay put.

Nah, I want emotions. It's what shapes men into leaders and women into great women.

What an unusual question. I love it. Anyway, I think this is a no-brainer: I would definitely feel everything over again, even the horrible crap. There are more feelings than there are words to describe them, though, and I don't think everything is necessarily "good" or "bad". Like, the excitement of getting your first job, intermingled with absolute terror of screwing it all up. That was still a great day wasn't it?

Feel everything all over...savor the memories because it is the essence of living. Only a dead person is completely emotionless;I chose the right to keep my emotions and live.

I agree with sugaree. I do know if I shove them away they pop-up at the worst times. Since, I have been avoiding the worst of my lot I've actually been happier than I have ever been. 3 yrs and counting. Figured out along the way that half of what I was feeling wasn't even my own crap it was theirs. Emotions are good when they haven't been imposed on you. Always go forward!

I want to stress a thing... let's get real, choosing one is not a possibility! what is needed there is control. You got to handle things right - disregarding those what wouldn't help and you can do nothing about (out of your control). On the other hand, feel free to express yourself - that is healthy; wether good or bad! That is life! Don't ever miss a part of it!

It depends on the situation-sometimes I go completely emotionless & sometimes feel everything deeply...But If I had to choose, I would choose the second one.
Thanks,
Sumiya...
