The amount of problems that can arise are infinite!
Actually, it depends on the issue. If you're debating politics and/or religion, then you will most definitely create derision.
Bottom line: Knowing when to speak your mind and when to keep your mouth closed depends entirely upon the situation and the issues being raised.
I hope this helps!

People will form a notion and start reacting next time even if you have not said anything. You are not wrong in saying things strongly but instead you can do it tactfully. It will have many advantages. You will make your point and also give a chance for the other person to correct himself/herself/situation. You need not build strong defence. Coz when we build a strong defence people misinterpret it as "You are building defence for a likely war"

What "I" think is right , doesn't mean it's right with other people. We are all different with different views. That is what makes the world go round. We sometimes think we are right because of our position at the moment, which makes sense at the time. But, The other person may have a different view because of their position at the moment, which may involve different situations. This can cause a big problem with 2 people, unable to understand eachother. Who says one person is right or wrong. Obviously, there is a lack of understanding/communication.

constant friction! Life is not always about being right, but about being kind, polite, understanding and pleasant. You may believe you are right but could be wrong! If you believ in speaking out strongly, we close our minds to other possibilities or errors. Pick your fights. And only speak strongly about grave moral issues of profound and well thought out principle.

Solomon's the authority here. He said be discrete. In this context he must mean be quite gentle and say little that's harmful. Though be to the point. But if something needs said delicately then do so.

There should be no problems, if you have done your research and you know you are right, and can back up your answers. they why should there be any problems, but don't do out there with just a chip on your shoulder, and think you know it all.. do your research, and know for sure you have the answers to back up what you are talking about..

Knowing when NOT to speak no matter how strong you think you are right will always prevail...because the person who THINKS they are right will one day find they are not.

None if you are honest while remaining considerate of others. If what you say is foolish, someone will correct you and you will learn something about yourself or the world. If their correction is foolish you will learn about them. If what you say is not foolish, others may learn. When we learn something it always feels as though we have lost something - but in fact we and our world have grown.
