A baby comes from a female mammal's womb. (Storks are large birds purported to deliver human babies in fairy tales.)
Some babies come from external eggs (birds, reptiles, platypi, ants).
Some babies come from twinkling eyes, God, fairies, and miracles.
But all babies are the smallest of the group!!

They come from little gnomes that live in the woods, and grow the babies under cabbage leaves in their gardens. After each full moon they remove the babies from under the plants, and distribute them to all the women who have severe gas belly. After the women recieve their babies the gas belly goes away, because the women are carring around the babies, and the added pressure from the weight of the baby helps push the gas out.
