I don't think this is a waste at all. I've received some very helpful answers to a variety of questions. And of course one doesn't want to take without giving so I have tried to answer question where I thought my experience might be helpful. Besides that, it's fun. I loved the answers I got when I asked for favorite episodes of I Love Lucy. It's only a waste if you aren't taking the opportunity to learn anything.

Guess you don't 'waste your life' eh? Your question is a very self-centered one. Not everyone sees life the way you do. What may be a waste of time for you may be someone else's one-time experience. Kinda like being invited to share your room mates girlfriend/boyfriend or a group sex party: you get that initial rush, work on your inhibitions, meet someone else that is just as adventurous, or you could go on living by a standard that will never make you happy..or you'll never have any wild stories to look back on with a smile..like me..

Not so much about fooling around asking or answering questions. We all know something that others don't or may not know the answer to everything and others might be able to help. Plus, being able to help someone get answers will give you a certain feeling of worth. That we all matter.

Asking questions is not a waste of time - what is a waste is thinking you know the answers and don't!

Asking & answering good question is good habit. Some time any matter may be a big problem for a person but others can solve it within a minute by their knowledge in the field. But asking question like u? Decide yourself.

Some of us don't always have someone else to talk to. Besides, it's kind of fun to see what other people are curious about, and help them out if you know some wierd pice of trivia, or can share an opinion that might give them some insight (we're not all just here to shoot our mouths off).

I think they enjoy what they are doing!People are unique and are not the same in the level of participation! We cannot pre-judge them if we do not like what they are doing as long as it wont harm and ruin their life!Or maybe that is their life, they are contented what they have or they have too much wealth and need not to earn much!Life is short and they just live to the fullest, that is how they value their daily living!

Man by birth is inquisitive, and it's not fooling around.
Man has the natural instinct of raising questions, reasoning within himself, and if one is inquisitive enough he really feels uncomfortable unless his queries are answered.
Thus this Q&A.

Who says Q&A is fooloing around - what u r doing is fooling around, others do it for enhancing knowledge and to help each other with the knowledge they have acquired already.
