To buy CD's so you have the cases? ... or to buy albums off of iTunes so you don't have to lug the cases with you wherever you go?
I used to think that it was good to have the cases, until this week as I have been packing getting ready to move. I have finally decided that I will just buy digital now as often as possible. I'm tired of owning so much STUFF!!!

I say buy the cd's because too many things are beginning to only exist in the digital world. The problem with that is the fact that digital things can be deleted and or lost very easily. Plus, with actually owning the cd there is something to show off that is tangible.

I prefer downloading software such as Limewire or Bearshare and getting digital free. While I do agree artists deserve to be compensated for their product, I also believe that the corporations they've signed with have done so much wrong to the purchasing public insomuchas that a single CD of 9 songs costs as much as another single CD with 16 songs that someone has to pay the price of greed. So sorry for the artists, really I am.

I buy the CDs cause many of them have the lyrics on the inserts. Then I put inserts and CDs into album and toss the case. I also use yourmusic.com cause they are dirt cheap!

I like having the case because of the photos, art, and liner notes. Also, after having a laptop stolen, I'm paranoid about not having sufficiently backed up my digital life.

I buy them online. I don't have room for more CDs, and I don't always like all the songs on the album.

iTUNES, unless the band or CD has more potential than two or three songs I like, OR I am buying the CD to support a cause or new band.

I prefer it to be on my computer. I break and lose the cases too much and sometimes lose the CDs themselves. :S
