You need a mustard seed! God says if you have as little faith as a mustard seed then it can grow, but you have to nurture it. Listen to the little voice inside, the one that leads you, the one that makes you who you are, that has to be God. Dont let society or any church tell you what to believe, find it for yourself. He is a God who has given us free will. Peoples choices create evil or good. God is sitting back letting nature take its coarse. Dont lose faith. Stay strong. You can do it! I believe you can make a difference in this world if you give it a fair shot! Kareena

Probably because you are truly growing up. People with fixed beliefs, especially involving supernatural beings etc, are usually clinging to life-buoys to avoid having to swim - or think. What we believe is most significantly the measure of our ignorance - unless we have so much hubris we think we know all the answers (or even the questions, which are more difficult, and more enlightening). So discard belief happily, and have the courage to live with faith. Belief always has a specific object. Faith has no assumptions, and no expectations (I had that on the authority of an Archbishop of Canterbury, now long dead, and a very good, honest man). It requires some courage - but no religious doctrines. Try it, and grow. It's an awesome universe, and the substance of life is our experience of it - that's an internal thing, only made alarming or limited by preconceptions like judgemental Daddy Gods and the rest.

I think that is everyone's own right to believe or not to believe.. was there something that happened in your life that made you not believe any more?? like a death of a loved one?? if that be the problem. God has a plan for all of us, and it was that persons time to go, his plan was done, and he had completed his task here on earth.. we are all here to complete a task, and non of us know how long we will be here.
If you just suddenly stopped believing , then you need to figure out why you did, and answer your own questions on that one, only you know why you don't believe any more.. Just remember , God loves you no matter what.. and he always will, he will be there for you , when you come back to him...good luck to you..

probably because it's hard to believe in what you dont see. I have a hard time believing because of how much life hurts. Sometimes it seems to hurt more than be good. Then I look at how much others suffer. WE should all take the good with the bad, but I don't think the bad should always get THAT bad. *shrugs* Hard to believe in God when things get real lonely in life. But some could argue that that's when you should feel the closest to him.

Let's assume that perhaps you are growing beyond the backwater hillbilly concept of God and are ready for more -- that God IS All-That-Is, and that maybe it's not limited to a grossly overedited and manipulated document that seeks to control you rather than free you...
I find some humor in the awareness that those who "attempt" to preach gospel are some of the most spiritually insecure people when it comes down to it -- and if Jesus' main message was to recognize your own relationship to your Creator, then perhaps you do NOT need a BOOK to do so?
Maybe, just maybe lol, there is enough love for everyone to share?

Because you look outward in your seeking and everything that you are looking for lies within. Understand that your relationship is individual, not institutional. Ask yourself that same question. Clear your mind, think of nothing and let the God that you don't believe in provide the answer to that question. It may take a little time or manifest itself instantly but well worth the effort.

Don't sweat it darling, sometimes it's enough just to believe in the "belief of God", whether or not you believe in God. You will come back to a more tangible belief at some point once you've come out the other side of this uncomfortable time in your life.

I think you are going through a state of confusion like how could there be a God if there is such misery in this world. But, God gave us choice and thus so, watches over us like a good parent, allowing us to make our own right and wrong choices. I have gone through such hell on earth one would think I wouldn't have faith, but there is so much beauty in the world, you can even find order in chaos, so it's hard for me not to believe. Good luck in your search to happiness.

God is different for everyone(presonally I'm agnostic). You can listen to others critize due to extreme ignorance but faith should be a personal experience. Organized religion is usually extremely bad (just look at the middle east situation). Don't rely upon others to fullfill whatever hole you feel. You know what is right and wrong and what makes YOU feel rightous.

If you believe as god as a saviour, forget it. He likes virus and bacterias and you the same. So, you may die due to some infection for the micro-organisms to have their food.
If you think, god is wise and he will do only good to you forget it. He likes plants, vultures etc also as same as you. He may kill you to have food for them.
If you think, you will be saved from disasters, forget it. God likes earth, rocks and volcanos also same as you. It can move or make Tsunamies according to its requirement and you may get killed in that process.
So, do not believe in god by thinking YOU will be saved.
